Sorry and thanks

After plowing through all the e-mail, I see that we did have a few
people worried (mostly Mom. Sorry Mom). Thanks for everyone's concern
and we're really sorry if we worried you. But, be aware that this is
likely going to happen from time to time. We have a well-found boat
and we're not daredevils. So, if you don't hear from us when you
think you should, just assume that the weather has us pinned down
somewhere and we're just biding our time, and that there's no wifi or
cell service available.

Special thanks to our friend and fellow seafarer, Rod Hill of s/v
Terrapin. Thanks for intervening and setting everyone's minds at ease,
Rod. We owe you a couple tacos de pescado and a Pacifico Ballena or
two next time we see you.

About sryoder

Steve & Lulu... retired. Had enough of the cold wet dreary fall/winter/spring in the Pacific Northwest. Bought a boat, fixed it up, sold our home and sailed to Mexico in November, 2010. Been here ever since except for occasional forays to the States (summer only, thank you) to visit the kids, parents and siblings. If you're looking for a sailing blog, this is the wrong place. This is a traveling, hunkering in, eating blog. Sailing is just how we get from place to place when we can't walk.

okAY I will try not to worry so much. I know you are very capable but you are not invincible and things can happen. at least you will know in the future that if something did happen we would all be looking for you. love, mom
