7/1/2012 – We made it

Just a quick note to let you know that we made it safely to Bah San Carlos. Not Guaymas as originally intended but very happy to be here. But that story is a blog for later today or maybe tomorrow. Suffice it to say that we traveled 86 nautical miles to get from Las Cocinas to Bah San Carlos which are only 24 nautical miles apart. Sailing! Yeah, OK, whatever. I updated the position report for your edification. Sorry, not to arite more right now but I’m very sleepy and we need to unwind with some 2 for 1 burgers at the Marina Cantina & Deli. Unfortunately, no alcohol sales today due to it being election day. And we have exactly 2 beers left. Whooooo, scary!

Hasta mana…

About sryoder

Steve & Lulu... retired. Had enough of the cold wet dreary fall/winter/spring in the Pacific Northwest. Bought a boat, fixed it up, sold our home and sailed to Mexico in November, 2010. Been here ever since except for occasional forays to the States (summer only, thank you) to visit the kids, parents and siblings. If you're looking for a sailing blog, this is the wrong place. This is a traveling, hunkering in, eating blog. Sailing is just how we get from place to place when we can't walk.

Woo, happy to hear you are safe and sound. You deserve a beer. I bet you never thought you would hear your sweet old Mom say that. Love, Mom

  3. Phew! A burger sounds well deserved!

Only two beers left? Sailing is all about suffering, Steve. Get used to it. 🙂
