3/20/2013 – Wind correction

I don’t know where I come up with some of the wind predictions I write about. I could have sworn that I heard we were supposed to get 20 knot winds today. But right after submitting yesterday’s blog, I downloaded the weather and there were no predictions even close to 20 knots. Listening to the weather this morning it sounds like it’s going to be in the single digits for at least the next 3 days. Nice.

About sryoder

Steve & Lulu... retired. Had enough of the cold wet dreary fall/winter/spring in the Pacific Northwest. Bought a boat, fixed it up, sold our home and sailed to Mexico in November, 2010. Been here ever since except for occasional forays to the States (summer only, thank you) to visit the kids, parents and siblings. If you're looking for a sailing blog, this is the wrong place. This is a traveling, hunkering in, eating blog. Sailing is just how we get from place to place when we can't walk.

  1. Nancy J. Pura says:

Steve & Lulu: I blame “Senior moments”, but you are too young for that.
Love to both of you always – Nancy

  2. The local reports here are ALWAYS wrong. Just be glad it was lower than forecast-ed and not a surprise of 40kts.
